Hello, my name is Fujinaga. Please call me Fuji!
I am a national lisenced tour guide.
Why did I become a tour guide?
In 2013, Tokyo was chosen to host the Olympic Games. While looking for something I could do during the Tokyo Olympics, I learned about the qualification for certified tour guides. I thought it was a wonderful job, guiding foreign visitors around Japan and sharing the country’s history and culture with them. I obtained the tour guide qualification, resigned from the company I was working for, and started working as a tour guide in Tokyo.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I moved to Mie Prefecture, where I had lived as a high school student. Mie has many wonderful tourist attractions, such as Ise Shrine, the most sacred shrine in Japan, and Iga city, the birthplace of Ninja. Let me introduce these spots with stories which you will not find in any guidebook. I hope you will join me in enjoying my tours together.
Guide Experience
I took the license in 2016. I have guided more than 600 tours in Mie, Tokyo, Kamakura, Mt.Fuji area, Hakone, Nikko, Kawagoe, etc.
